VL107 Lettuce 'Grand Rapids' (140-240 Seeds)
The best-known loose-leaf lettuce variety. This variety produces medium to large upright, light green leaves. The mild and flavourful leaves are frilled and crisp. Being an exceptionally fast grower, it is the earliest to bear. Matures in 35-50 days.
HOW TO GROW VEGETABLE SEEDS
Planting: During cooler season in a tropical climate; in temperate climates - plant in late spring-early summer, after the last frost, when soil is at least 65°F (18°C).
Soil: Fertile, well-drained soil.
Sowing Depth: ¼ inch (.6 cm) deep.
Spacing: At least 1 inch (2.5 cm) apart.
Light: Direct sun.
Watering: Water regularly to keep the soil moist.
Fertilizing: Optional.
Harvest: 35-50 days after planting.
